John

Start with one chapter.

We see His glory, His love, His truth, His authority, His kindness, His closeness with the Father, and His power over death.

John also shows how people respond to Jesus.

Some believe.

Some misunderstand.

Some reject Him.

Some are changed deeply.

This Gospel keeps bringing the question close:

Who is Jesus?

And do I truly believe in Him?

John matters because it speaks directly to the deepest question:

Who is Jesus?

If Jesus is only a teacher, then we can look up to Him from a distance.

But if He is truly the Son of God, it changes everything.

John shows us that Jesus did not come only to give information about God.

He came to reveal the Father, give eternal life, give His life for us, rise again, and call us to believe in Him.

This Gospel is simple to read, but very deep in what it reveals.

It is a strong place to read slowly, especially if you want to truly understand who Jesus says He is.
